Regolamento 26a Biennale Internazionale dell’Umorismo nell’Arte

Il Comune di Tolentino indice e organizza la 26a Biennale Internazionale
dell’Umorismo nell’Arte, che si terrà a Tolentino dal 21 luglio al 2 ottobre
2011.
1. La Biennale è aperta agli artisti di tutto il mondo, i quali potranno partecipare
al concorso “Premio internazionale Città di Tolentino” dedicato
all’arte umoristica con un numero massimo di tre opere inedite e in
originale, di dimensioni e tecnica libere, in ogni forma d’arte visiva.
Il tema della Biennale 2011 è “L’ARTE DEL NOVECENTO”
2. Il termine utile per l’ammissione in concorso delle opere è fissato al 31
maggio 2011. Entro tale data le opere dovranno pervenire a:
Segreteria della “26a Biennale Internazionale dell’Umorismo nell’Arte,
piazza della Libertà, 3 – 62029 TOLENTINO (Italy).
Ogni autore dovrà allegare la scheda di partecipazione, debitamente
sottoscritta, sulla quale avrà cura di indicare: nome, cognome, indirizzo
(data di nascita e residenza per gli artisti marchigiani tra i 18 e i 30
anni) titolo delle opere presentate (max. 3), breve notizia biografica.
Ogni autore dovrà inoltre compilare ed incollare sul retro di ciascuna
opera inviata l’apposito tagliando, indicando nome, cognome, titolo
dell’opera, tecnica, disponibilità alla donazione, disponibilità alla vendita
con indicazione del prezzo
3. Per le opere disponibili alla vendita l’Organizzatore tratterrà il 20% del
prezzo indicato dall’autore nel tagliando di cui all’art. 2. Sono escluse dalla
vendita le opere che hanno conseguito premi in denaro e che resteranno
di proprietà del Museo Internazionale dell’Umorismo nell’Arte di Tolentino.
4. Le opere dovranno essere inviate in porto franco. Le opere inviate verranno
accettate soltanto se non sono gravate da tasse, oneri doganali,
ogni altro onere a carico dell’Organizzatore.
5. Il Comune di Tolentino, quale organizzatore della manifestazione, assicura
la massima diligenza nella custodia e sorveglianza delle opere,
declinando tuttavia ogni responsabilità per eventuali furti, incendi,
danni o smarrimenti dovuti a cause imponderabili che dovessero verificarsi
per tutta la durata della permanenza delle opere presso la sede
della Biennale e durante le fasi di trasporto delle opere medesime.
6. L’accettazione delle opere, la loro selezione per l’esposizione e l’assegnazione
dei premi è di esclusiva competenza della Giuria nominata
dall’Amministrazione Comunale di Tolentino di concerto con la Direzione
Artistica. Il giudizio della Giuria è insindacabile e inappellabile.
7. La Giuria assegnerà i seguenti premi:
– Premio Internazionale “Città di Tolentino”- Vincitore della Biennale € 5.000,00.
Il vincitore della Biennale sarà ospite della Biennale 2013 con una
personale (max 30 opere);
– 2° Premio € 3.000,00;
– 3° Premio € 1.500.00.
La Giuria conferisce inoltre:
– Premio Stelle Emergenti - Autori giovani e marchigiani 18/30 anni € 1.000,00.
Il vincitore sarà ospite della Biennale 2013 con una personale.
– Il Premio alla Carriera “Cesare Marcorelli”;
– Il Premio Accademia dell’Umorismo “Luigi Mari”;
– Altri premi speciali.
In caso di ex-aequo il premio in denaro assegnato verrà ripartito tra i
vincitori.
8. Le opere saranno restituite a spese dell’Organizzatore non prima del
trentesimo giorno successivo alla prevista data di chiusura della Biennale,
salvo proroghe e ad eccezione delle opere ammesse all’esposizione
ed espressamente donate dall’Autore al Museo Internazionale
dell’Umorismo nell’Arte di Tolentino.
9. L’Organizzatore della Biennale Internazionale dell’Umorismo nell’Arte
è autorizzato a riprodurre le opere selezionate per la loro pubblicazione
sul catalogo ufficiale della rassegna, per il numero di esemplari che
l’Organizzatore stimi conveniente. L’Organizzatore è autorizzato alla
pubblicazione per la diffusione delle opere medesime anche attraverso
l’impiego dei mezzi di riproduzione, di diffusione a distanza e
del web. L’Organizzatore è autorizzato a pubblicare l’opera su qualsiasi
supporto, anche a fini di carattere commerciale. L’Autore sarà indicato,
nelle riproduzioni dell’opera, nei modi d’uso. L’Autore consente la
libera utilizzazione dell’opera ai fini conoscitivi, educativi, ricreativi e di
pubblico godimento, senza previsione di compenso alcuno. L’Autore
dell’opera pubblicata rinuncia espressamente a qualsiasi compenso.
10. La partecipazione in concorso alla 26a Biennale Internazionale dell’Umorismo
nell’Arte implica la piena e assoluta accettazione del presente
Regolamento.
11. Il Regolamento è pubblicato in lingua italiana, francese, inglese, spagnola,
tedesca. In caso di controversia fa fede il testo in lingua italiana.

2011, che si dà per letto, approvato e sottoscritto in tutti i suoi articoli e senza eccezione alcuna.
In particolare la/il sottoscritto/a accetta quanto disposto:
– all’art. 3 che recita “Per le opere disponibili alla vendita l’Organizzatore tratterrà il 20% del
prezzo indicato dall’autore nel tagliando di cui all’art.2. Sono escluse dalla vendita le opere
che hanno conseguito premi in denaro e che resteranno di proprietà del Museo Internazionale
dell’Umorismo nell’Arte di Tolentino”;
– all’art. 5 che recita “Il Comune di Tolentino, quale organizzatore della manifestazione, assicura
la massima diligenza nella custodia e sorveglianza delle opere, declinando tuttavia ogni
responsabilità per eventuali furti, incendi, danni o smarrimenti dovuti a cause imponderabili

tedesca. In caso di controversia fa fede il testo in lingua italiana”.

Biennale Internazionale dell’Umorismo nell’Arte, indetto ed organizzato dal Comune di Tolentino;
b. il trattamento sarà effettuato con modalità manuale, informatizzata, multimediale;
c. il conferimento dei dati è obbligatorio ai fini della partecipazione al concorso della 26a Biennale
Internazionale dell’Umorismo nell’Arte;
d. i dati potranno essere diffusi presso la stampa, l’Organizzatore di Biennale, il pubblico nella
sua generalità;
e. il titolare del trattamento è il Comune di Tolentino;
f. il Responsabile del trattamento è il dott. Pier Carlo Guglielmi;
g. in ogni momento potrà esercitare i Suoi diritti nei confronti del titolare del trattamento, ai
sensi dell’art. 7 del D.Lgs. n. 196/2003.

26th International Biennial of Art Humour

The town council of Tolentino is proposing and organising the 26th International
Biennial of Art Humour, which this year will take place between
21 July and 2 October 2011.
1. The Biennial is open to artists from all over the world, each of which
can participate in the “City of Tolentino International Prize” dedicated
to satire art. Each entry consists of a maximum of 3 unpublished and
original works, of any size, technique and form of visual art.
The theme for the 2011 Biennial is: “Twentieth century Art”.
2. The last entry date for the competition is 31 May 2011, by which date
the works of art must be registered with:
the Secretary for the 26th International Biennial of Art Humour, Piazza
della Libertà, 3 – 62029 TOLENTINO (Italy).
Each work of art must have a signed entry form in which the following
information is provided: The artist’s name, surname, address,
title of the piece (max 3), short biography. Authors must fill out and
glue the entry form behind each of their works of art that will indicate
the artist’s name, surname, title of the work, technique, availability for
donation, availability for sale and price.
3. 20% of the earnings from the works available for sale will go to the
organizer, in line with art. 2. The works of art that have been awarded
prize money are excluded from sale and will become the property of the
International Museum for Art and Humour in Tolentino.
4. The pieces must be sent carriage free. They will only be accepted if
no tax, customs fees or any other fees are incurred by the organizer.
5. The town council of Tolentino, as organizer of the event, assures the
maximum care, guardianship and supervision of all pieces, declining
all responsibility of possible damage, theft, fire or ungovernable
events while in the care of those involved in the event or during
transportation of the works of art.
6. The acceptance of each piece, their selection for exhibition and the
awarding of prizes is carried out by a jury nominated by the city administrators
in agreement with the Artistic Director. The jury’s decision is
final and cannot be questioned or appealed.
7. The jury will give out the following prizes:
– International Prize “City of Tolentino” - Biennial winner € 5.000.
The Biennial winner will be the guest for the following Biennial (2013)
and will have his own exhibition (max. 30 works of art);
– 2° Prize of Euro 3.000;
– 3° Prize of Euro 1.500;
The jury also awards:
– The “Cesare Marcorelli” Career Prize;
– “Luigi Mari” Academy of Humour Prize;
– Other special Prizes and commendations.
Should there be a tie for the first place, the prize money will be shared
by the two artists.
8. The works will be returned, at the cost of the Organiser, not before
the 30th day after the scheduled closing date, apart from the possible
postponement of the closing date. Exception goes to those works of
art used in the exhibition and expressly donated to the Museum of Art
in Humour in Tolentino by the artist.
9. The International Biennial of Art Humour organisers are authorised to
use and copy the selected works to be inserted in their official exhibition
catalogue, with
as many copies they deem necessary. The organisers are allowed to also
publish the same works, even through reproduction, in a wide distribution
also in the internet. They are also entitled to publish the works
on any resource and even for commercial purposes. The artist will
be mentioned, in reproductions of their works, in familiar ways. The
artist will automatically consent to the free utilisation of their works
be it imaginatively, educationally, creatively or for public enjoyment,
without any compensation. The artist must renounce all rights to any
type of compensation.
10. Participation in the 26th International Biennial of Art Humour competition
requires full and complete acceptance of the regulations stated.
11. The regulations are published in Italian, French, English, German and
Spanish. In case of doubt, please refer to the Italian text.

g. It is possible to consult your rights at any time with the chief handler, according to art. 7 of
