La 17ª edizione della Rassegna Umoristica è organizzata dalla Pro Loco a scopi culturali, per testimoniare i notevoli contenuti creativi del pensiero e della grafica umoristica, che contribuiscono non poco allo sviluppo della socialità consapevole, innovativa, pluralistica e tollerante. Quest'anno la Pro Loco allestir la Rassegna Umoristica nel prestigioso "MAGA" Museo Arte Gallarate

The 17th edition of the International Cartoon Contest is organized by the "Pro Loco" of Gallarate for cultural purposes, to attest the worthy creative contents of thought and the humoristic graphic art which contribute in no mean way to the development of attentive, innovative, pluralistic and open-minded social relationship. This year the Pro Loco will organize the Humoristic Exhibition in the prestigious "MAGA" Museum Art Gallarate www.museomaga.it

Regolamento

1) Il concorso è aperto a tutti i cartoonists, vignettisti, caricaturisti, illustratori e grafici professionisti del mondo e articolato in 3 sezioni (Grafica, Satira, Caricatura)

Sezione C) Caricatura » Tema libero
È possibile partecipare in tutte le sezioni.
3) Entrate: max. 3 opere. Le opere devono essere in originale e accompagnate dalla scheda di partecipazione, biografia, foto o caricatura dell'autore. Ogni opera dovrà essere firmata dall'autore e dovrà riportare sul retro i dati completi dell'autore (nome, cognome, indirizzo...). L'Autore è tenuto ad indicare la sezione per ciascuna opera.
4) Formato: A4 (21 x 29,7 cm)
5) Tecnica: libera (da indicare sul retro dell'opera). Stampe digitali di opere realizzate con il PC saranno accettate solo se firmate e numerate dall'autore. Fotocopie delle opere non saranno accettate.
Le opere inviate in formato digitale - via email o supporto informatico - non saranno valutate per l'assegnazione dei vari premi del Grand Prix "Marco Biassoni, ma saranno prese in considerazione solo per l'esposizione e per il catalogo.
6) Scadenza: 3 Ottobre 2011 (farà fede il timbro postale)
7) Premi: la Giuria assegnerà i seguenti premi:
Gran Premio "Marco Biassoni" alla migliore opera in assoluto tra le sezioni Grafica e Satira (tema "H2O").
1° Premio | Premio speciale della Giuria | 5 Menzioni speciali per ogni sezione (Grafica, Satira, Caricatura)
Premio speciale Osvaldo Cavandoli "Cava" (creatore del celebre personaggio "La Linea") alla migliore opera tra tutte le sezioni che coniughi la bellezza del contenuto umoristico, satirico o caricaturale con la massima essenzialità dell'esecuzione grafica.
8) Esposizione: 30 Ottobre - 13 Novembre 2011 presso il Museo Arte Gallarate "MAGA".
Cerimonia d'inaugurazione: 30 Ottobre 2011 alle ore 11
9) Catalogo: ogni autore selezionato ricever una copia in omaggio
10) Proprietà e diritti: l'Organizzazione si riserva i diritti di riprodurre le opere su catalogo, giornali o manifesti per la promozione del concorso e di organizzare esposizioni con una selezione di opere in altre località in Italia e all'estero. Tutte le opere non saranno restituite e saranno incluse nella " Humour Gallarate Collection ".
Con la sua partecipazione, l'autore accetta le regole e il regolamento del concorso e le decisioni della Giuria.

Regulations

1) The contest is open to all professional cartoonists, caricaturists, illustrators and graphic artists from all over the world. The contest is articulated in 3 sections (Graphics/Cartoon, Satire, Caricature)
2) Themes: H2O | Free theme
Sections A) Graphics/Cartoon | B) Satire » H2O
Section C) Caricature » Free theme
It's possible to participate in all the sections.
3) Entries: max. 3 works. The works must be original and accompanied by the author's photo or caricature, entry-form and biography. Each work should bear the signature or mark of the author and name, surname, address, phone number and other data on the back. The author have to indicate the section for each work/s.
4) Size: A4 (21 x 29,7 cm)
5) Technique: Free. Common graphic and digital prints will be accepted but only if signed by the author. Copies of ink and pencil drawings are not applicable. The works sent in digital form, by email or informatic devices, will not be considered for the awarding of prizes of Grand Prix "Marco Biassoni"; the works will be taken into consideration only for the exhibition and for the catalogue.
6) Deadline: October 3, 2011 (the post-mark will provide the proof)
7) Prizes: the Jury will award the following prizes:
Grand Prix "Marco Biassoni" for the best work of main theme "H2O" (Sections Graphics/Cartoon and Satire)
1st Prize | Special Prize of Jury | 5 Special Mentions for each section (Graphics/Cartoon, Satire, Caricature)
Special Prize Osvaldo Cavandoli "Cava" (creator of the famous character "La Linea") for the best work of all sections, that combines humoristic beauty with the essentiality of graphic execution.
8) Exhibition: October 30 - November 13, 2011 at the "MAGA" Museum Art Gallarate.
Opening ceremony: October 20, 2011 at 11,00 AM
9) Catalogue: each selected author will receive a copy
10) Property: the Organizers reserves the rights to reproduce the cartoons in catalogue, newspapers, or posters to promote the Contest and to exhibit a selection of works in other locations in Italy and other countries. All the works will not be returned and will be included in the "Humour Gallarate Collection".
By submitting the works, the author accepts the rules and regulations of the Contest and the decisions of the Jury.
