3. Tema: Contra a violência .. Violência no esporte .. Espírito esportivo .. Fair Play. (Torcedores de futebol egípcios foram atacados por seus homólogos argelinos seguinte correspondência entre os dois países playoff no Sudão em 2010 qualificações Copa do Mundo)

1- Each cartoonist can submit a max of (3) original works (black & white or colored). Works made by computer will be accepted.

2- Size: strictly A4 (21X 29.7)

3-Deadline: 20/2/2010

4- On the back of each work the following information should appear:

First name - surname - address - tel & fax - e-mail – theme section& title.

5- (NOTE: entry- form is not necessary).

6-The works will be displayed at Syria Cartoon website:

or may be used for promotional purposes; cards, posters, newspapers, catalogs, books, websites, etc. Participants are considered to have accepted all the conditions and are aware that their submitted works may be reprinted and used without permission.

7- All entry works must not be submitted as neither folded nor rolling form.

8 - The works will not be returned.

9 - All the cartoonists whose works will be selected for the exhibition will receive a catalogue& certificate.

10 - The jury will not reward the cartoons submitted to other festivals. The prize winners will be informed by mail. And the results will be declared On (March 2010)

5th Edition of the International Prize of Humour and Custom Satire

5th Edition of the International Prize of Humour and Custom Satire

RULES
The Province of Lodi and the town of Codogno, with the help of public or private
organizations and institutions, are going to proclaim the 5th Edition of the
International Prize of Humour and Custom Satire entitled: "Giuseppe Novello: a
good family man".

Both professional and amateur graphic artists can participate to the competition,
by sending unpublished works together with the enrollment form .
Only original works will be accepted, that is, works never published in any kind of
magazines or exhibited in shows.


PARTICIPATION
Each artist is allowed to participate with 3 works at most, regarding the following
theme: "World cup", that is the subject of the 5th Edition of the Novello Prize.
Each work have to be part of the competition spirit and deal with humour and
custom satire. For this reason, works about political satire will not be accepted, as
well as drawings against decency.

It is important also to remember that only the following paintings techniques are
permitted: pencil, Indian ink, watercolour, coloured ink, felt-tip pen.
All works will be examinated by a Jury and the winning drawings will be exposed
at the Show of the International Prize of Humour and Custom Satire that will be in
Codogno from 6h February 2010.

The works will not be returned, since soon they will be recollected in archives by
the Culture and Sport Councillorship of Codogno.

All drawings will not be used for commercial aims, but only to promote the Prize
itself in magazines, newspapers, web, in Italy and abroad.
For this reason, each artist is asked to permit the reproduction of his/her work , if
necessary (except for profit).


PRIZES
The winners will be awarded the following prizes :
1. Novello Prize-1st classified : Euros 1.500,00
2. 2nd classified : Euros 1.000,00
3. 3rd classified : Euros 500,00
4. Special prizes will be awarded from the Jury, after having judged the works
quality and characteristics, for this reason, the amount of the prizes will be
established in collaboration with available partnership.


JURY
The Jury is composed by cartoonists, journalists and showmen and Councillorship
representative.
The Jury is also allowed to not award any prize. In this case, the amount of money
will increase the worth of the prizes for the following edition.


ENROLMENT
All works and enrollment forms must be sent by post or by hand to the Secretary
of the 5th Edition of the "Novello Prize" at the Cultural Office of the town hall of
Codogno - Via Vittorio Emanuele 4, 26845 Codogno (Lodi) - Italia Tel. (039) 377

won't validate the postmark) or by mail: protocollo@pec.comune.codogno.lo.it


Any other kind of drawing will be not accepted.
The drawings:
a) must be unpublished (as previously specified in "Rules") and without frame
b) must preferably respect the A4 size (21x 29,7 cm)
Works can be coloured, in black and white or containing text.
In case of strips, the pages (at most 3) must be numbered, following the standard
measures.

REGULAMENTO Tema: mulheres: modernas e fashion, divertidas e tristes, esposa, mãe e amiga, esportista, médica ou, apenas mulher! Todos sabem que não é possível viver sem elas... Participantes: Serão aceitos: desenhos, cartuns e outras obras plásticas feitas em técnicas opcionais; poderão participar obras que já foram publicadas e exibidas porém que não foram premiadas. 1. A competição será realizada nas categorias: Desenho 2. Formato: no máximo A3 ; 1 trabalho por participante. 3. Os participantes são responsáveis por garantir que a obra chegue ao seu destino. 4. 1. PARTICIPAÇÃO O concurso está aberto à todos que tenham mais de 18 anos. Ao participar, o candidato está concordando com todas as regras descritas no regulamento. Os prêmios à estrangeiros poderão ser taxados, de acordo com a lei Belga. 2. TEMA Livre 3. CADASTRO - 5 cartuns a) devem ser enviados os cartuns originais, em preto e branco ou coloridos. b) as obras enviadas não podem ter sido exibidas na Bélgica previamente ou recebido prêmio em outros salões. c) sem legendas d) devem ser enviados: - sem amassar ou dobrar - enrolado em um objeto rígido. Observação: As inscrições (dimensões, números, etc) e o formulário (assinatura, data de aniversário...) que não seguirem as regras, serão desconsideradas e enviadas de volta ao participante. 4. DIMENSÕES DOS CARTUNS a) mínimo: 21 cm e máximo 42 cm b) mínimo: 30 cm e máximo 60 cm. Cartuns feitos em outros materiais a não ser papel, não serão aceitos. 5. FORMULÁRIO DE INSCRIÇÃO A participação no salão só será válida se o formulário de inscrição apresentar a data de nascimento e assinatura. Cada cartum deve conter o nome e sobrenome do autor no verso. O custo com envio é de responsabilidade do participante. 6. DIREITOS AUTORAIS Ao aceitar participar do concurso, o participante concorda que seus trabalhos sejam usados pela organizações com o intuito de divulgar e promover o evento e do resort beira-mar Knokke-Heist (livro de cartuns, catálogo, publicidade impressa, pôsteres, calendários, presentes oficiais por autoridades locais e outros salões, e outras mídias) 7. JÚRI O júri fará a seleção, afim de escolher e apontar os vencedores. 8. ADMISSÃO A admissão do participante no salão se dá mediante o recebimento do cadastro. Gratuitamente. 9.
